Our Company, supporting in practice the efforts to recover the domestic tourism of the country and strengthen the tourist activity, as well as the island economy, participates in the social tourism program 2021 – 2022, providing a discount on the ferry tickets of the beneficiaries of the program.
The discount is valid for single round trip tickets, from 01.08.21 to 31.07.22, on all domestic itineraries on the Cyclades, Dodecanese, Sporades, NE Aegean, Argosaronicos and Crete routes served by Blue ships Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways.
The benefit is valid under the following conditions:
Valid for bookings from 01.08.21.
Valid only for economy class or numbered seat tickets for ships that do not have economy class.
It also applies to intermediate routes.
It does not apply to the purchase of a ticket for private use (IX) of vehicles.
Offer is not cumulative and cannot be combined with other trade discounts or offers.
The tickets are issued at the same time as the seat reservation.
In case of loss of the tickets, the applicable policy of our company will be followed.
Tickets may be cancelled, rescheduled or converted to an open date based on our company’s applicable policy.
NOTE: In case you wish to cancel a ticket, both legs of the journey (transition and return) must be cancelled. Otherwise, the OAED check code will appear already used and you will not be able to use it again on a future trip.
The social tourism voucher code expires when the tickets are issued and cannot be reused.
The expiry date of all social tourism checks is 31/07/2022 and after the mentioned date, no check can be used.
The transfer and return cannot take place after 31/07/2022.
A necessary condition for the provision of the above discount is the presentation of the “Social Tourism – Ferry Travel Voucher”, which is provided to you by OAED, both when the tickets are issued by the cooperating agencies, and when boarding the ship. The presentation of the printed receipt is necessary on both routes (transit and return).
It is clarified that the “OAED DISABLED 100%” discount is granted to people with Special Needs, with a disability rate of 50% or more, and the “OAED CHILD 75%” discount to children aged 5 to 10 years.
