The platform for the North Evia – Samos Pass via vouchers.gov.gr is to be put into operation on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 12:00. This is the platform that aims to financially support the tourist activity for the regions of North Evia and Samos.
As stated in a joint statement by the Ministries of Digital Governance, Finance, Development & Investments and Tourism, the second phase of the program concerns intangible digital debit cards that the beneficiaries will be able to use for the period up to 31-08-2022 for expenses accommodation, catering and local transport in the above affected areas. In particular, 4,050 €100 cards will be issued for North Evia and 2,025 €200 cards for Samos. The vouchers.gov.gr platform will remain open for the second phase of the program from 12:00 on July 25 and until the immaterial digital debit cards are exhausted, with a closing date for submitting applications on July 29.
Regarding the first phase of the North Evia – Samos Pass, which is still ongoing and concerns intangible digital debit cards that can be used until July 31, with the data so far:
for Samos, 2,950 of the 4,000 issued 300 euro cards have already been added to citizens’ digital wallets and 14,475 transactions totaling 476,891.00 euros have been approved and
for Northern Evia, 5,416 of the 8,000 issued 150 euro cards have already been added to citizens’ digital wallets and 12,023 transactions totaling 426,272.00 euros have been approved.
Beneficiaries
The North Evia – Samos Pass has no income criteria and, therefore, those citizens who:
are tax residents of Greece according to the tax return for the tax year 2020 and
are not beneficiaries – beneficiaries in the context of: the Social Tourism program for the period 2021-2022, the Social Tourism program of D.Y.P.A. 2022 and the action “Tourism for all” of the Ministry of Tourism or related provision by any other body for the same period of time.
It is clarified that for married people or persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement until the tax year 2020, the beneficiary is the person liable to submit the tax return or one of the two, in case of a separate return. The North Evia – Samos Pass can be used exclusively either by the beneficiary himself to cover his local transport, catering or accommodation costs, or by those designated as his “beneficiaries”, namely:
his adult children who are declared as dependents in the personal income tax return for the tax year 2020 or the spouse of the beneficiary or the person who has entered into a cohabitation agreement with him.
The action is divided into four phases, during which the beneficiaries will be able to request the issuance of the immaterial digital debit cards and use them at specific time intervals. In particular, the program is structured per month, as follows:

Step by step how to apply.
The operation of the platform is particularly simple, as to submit the application every citizen only needs his Taxisnet passwords and the confirmation of a mobile phone number and an e-mail address. All other data are automatically collected through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems. Analytically:
The citizen enters the platform with his Taxisnet passwords.
Immediately after, he registers his contact details, i.e. email address and mobile phone number, which he then authenticates via a hyperlink and a one-time password (OTP – One Time Password) respectively.
Then, he states the destination of his choice between Samos and North Evia.
It then states the mobile phone number on which, if approved, the immaterial digital debit card will be activated.
Finally, the citizen responsibly declares that he is not subject to any of the action’s exceptions and selects “Submit”, completing the application submission process.
The process can also be handled through KEP.
