SUPERFAST FERRIES

The Superfast vision began to materialize in 1995 with the deployment of the first pair of pioneering German-built car passenger ferries on the Patras-Ancona route reducing travelling time from 36 to 20 hours and setting new standards in maritime transport between Greece and Italy.

Superfast Ferries offers (jointly with ANEK LINES) daily connections from the Greek ports of Patras and Igoumenitsa to the Italian ports of Ancona, Bari and Venice. During the summer period, Superfast Ferries also offers connections from Bari and Ancona (Italy) to the Greek island of Corfu.

On board Superfast Ferries state-of-the-art vessels, the passenger re-discovers the pleasure of travelling by sea along with all those details that can make a trip an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the fresh air on decks and discover the great choices we offer you in order to entertain yourself or, just stretch out: Swimming pool, Casino, Disco, indoor and opendeck Bars, A la Carte Self Service restaurants, Shops, children TV room. HELLENIC SEAWAYS

HELLENIC SEAWAYS is a member of ATTICA GROUP, which operates in passenger shipping through the companies SUPERFAST FERRIESBLUE STAR FERRIES, HELLENIC SEAWAYS and AFRICA MOROCCO LINK, with a total of 32 vessels offering modern, high-quality transport services in Greece and abroad. Attica Group’s vessels serve 60 unique destinations in 4 countries, connecting 71 ports and carrying over 7 million passengers, 1 million passenger vehicles and 400,000 trucks every year.

 

The Fleet 

The company serves more than 36 destinations on the Greek islands and mainland, with a fleet of 15 conventional and highspeed vessels offering passengers a range of options in terms of journey type and duration.

Hellenic Seaways ships have comfortable lounges*, cabins*, aircraft-type seats, open and closed style* bars, restaurants*, shops*and all the amenities for passengers to enjoy high-quality services at sea.

Routes

Hellenic Seaways operates in the Northern Aegean, the Saronic Gulf, the Sporades and the Cyclades.

Routes are renewed and planned with the aim of providing multiple options to passengers, supporting local communities, and linking the Greek islands, with clear benefits for the country’s economy and tourism.

 

Prizes & Awards

HELLENIC SEAWAYS has received a host of prizes and awards.

In 2019 it received the Silver Award in the Social Media Presence category of the Tourism Awards

In 2016, HELLENIC SEAWAYS’ Smart Ticket/Web Check-in received the Silver Award in the Innovative concept, product, operating model or service provider/Start-up category at the Tourism Awards.

In 2014, the company was named Passenger Line of the Year at the Greek Shipping Awards, an honour bestowed by Lloyd’s List on the basis of its exceptional performance and innovative passenger services.

In 2009, the company was named Best Domestic Passenger Line at the readers’ choice awards organised by the internationally recognised travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.

In 2007, HELLENIC SEAWAYS was named a Superbrand for Greece at the Superbrand Awards.  In the same year, the company received the Tourism Enterprise Award for its decisive role in improving and further developing Greek passenger shipping and maritime transport for the islands. At the Lloyd’s List Shipping Awards, HELLENIC SEAWAYS was named Passenger Line of the Year, while also taking home the prize for Ship of the Year, awarded to the company’s new ro-ro passenger ferry, the Nissos Chios, which was built entirely in Greece.

In 2006, the Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards named the Nissos Mykonos, a new ro-ro passenger ferry, Ship of the Year.

Levante Ferries

Levante Ferries Group, combining the noble aspects of Hellenic Naval Tradition with the modern spirit of new technologies and concepts, quickly established itself in the service of the Patras – Kyllini – Zakynthos – Kefalonia – Ithaca sea area, offering to the Passenger modern ships, as well as advanced land services.

“Key” factor in the rapid development of Levante Ferries and its consolidation in passenger consciousness was the significant experience of its executives in serving citizens-passengers, as well as its pioneering approach to the evolution of the Ferry – Shipping market and the needs of the travelers in the Ionian Sea.

The Levante Ferries fleet consists of four ships built to the highest standards: the brand new «Fior di Levante», the beautiful «Mare di Levante», the modernized «Andreas Kalvos» and the well-known «Kefalonia». Our ships, staffed with experienced and fully trained crews, offer passengers a completely safe, comfortable and pleasant trip, even in the toughest weather conditions.

Levante Ferries has also made possible for passengers to issue an e-ticket, supported by a smartphone app, thus making queues a thing of the past.

Levante Ferries, despite the warm welcome of travelers, does not rest, but closely monitors every modern technology and up-to-date specification, aiming to be present in the “next day” developments of the Ferry – Shipping market with a structured strategy and an organized plan, that lead to a stronger fleet, even more routes and new destinations.

Celestyal Cruises

Celectyal Cruises is the only company that keeps it’s base of operations in Greece, with it’s boarding ports mainly being the Greek islands. The company manages 5 medium-sized cruise ships, each offering an ideal setting for warm and personal service.

The focal point of the company’s philosophy is “destination”, while each cruise focuses on all aspects of the culture of the areas it visits, offering authentic experiences both onboard and on land.

In 2009, Avis merges fully with Piraeus Best Leasing, and in 2012 absorbs completely Piraeus Multifin Leasing.

At the same time, acquires master franchise for Budget Rent a Car and Payless Car Rental in Greece.
