Swimming against the backdrop of the verdant slopes is worth the boat ride from Antisamos to the desolate sandy beach of Koutsoupia.

On the way from Sami to the port of Agia Efimia there are many small coves with pebbles, accessible by stairs or path. The busiest beaches of the island unfold in the area of Lassi, close to Argostoli: Makris Gialos with its fine blonde sand, beach bar, sunbeds and water sports and the neighboring Platys Gialos.

In the area of Livathos, now, stands out the small sandy and organized beach of Ai-Heli, near Svoronata. In the southeast, again, Koroni is one of the top beaches thanks to the clear waters, the fine sand and the natural clay spa from the rocks.

Families that vacation in the area usually frequent the beaches of Katelios. After them, on the road to Skala, the cape of Mounta is deleted in the background. From the village of Ratzakli a downhill road leads to the large and quiet sandy beaches of Potamakia and Kaminia, which have sunbeds and umbrellas, while also offered for windsurfing. Equally beautiful, with pebbles and crystal clear waters, is the spacious Platia Ammos in the area of Kipouraion Monastery.
