SUPERFAST FERRIES
The Superfast vision began to materialize in 1995 with the deployment of the first pair of pioneering German-built car passenger ferries on the Patras-Ancona route reducing travelling time from 36 to 20 hours and setting new standards in maritime transport between Greece and Italy.
Superfast Ferries offers (jointly with ANEK LINES) daily connections from the Greek ports of Patras and Igoumenitsa to the Italian ports of Ancona, Bari and Venice. During the summer period, Superfast Ferries also offers connections from Bari and Ancona (Italy) to the Greek island of Corfu.

BLUE STAR FERRIES.
Blue Star Ferries was founded in November 1992. However, the history of the BLUE STAR SHIPPING group begins in 1897. There were itineraries for the transport of passengers and cargo between Piraeus, Patras, the Ionian Islands and Italy. In the 1980s and 1990s, the company grew significantly. He started to be active in passenger transport in the Greek islands and abroad.
Today all the ships of the company are modern and fast, while they have all the luxurious amenities that you will need on your voyage. In recent years, the company has been certified with ISO 9001 for the quality of its services. In addition, the ships of Blue Star Ferries have been certified with ISO 14001 Blue Star became the first Greek shipping company to develop Environmental Policy.

HELLENIC SEAWAYS is a member of ATTICA GROUP, which operates in passenger shipping through the companies SUPERFAST FERRIES, BLUE STAR FERRIES, HELLENIC SEAWAYS and AFRICA MOROCCO LINK, with a total of 32 vessels offering modern, high-quality transport services in Greece and abroad. Attica Group’s vessels serve 60 unique destinations in 4 countries, connecting 71 ports and carrying over 7 million passengers, 1 million passenger vehicles and 400,000 trucks every year.
The Fleet
The company serves more than 36 destinations on the Greek islands and mainland, with a fleet of 15 conventional and highspeed vessels offering passengers a range of options in terms of journey type and duration.

In 2019 it received the Silver Award in the Social Media Presence category of the Tourism Awards
In 2016, HELLENIC SEAWAYS’ Smart Ticket/Web Check-in received the Silver Award in the Innovative concept, product, operating model or service provider/Start-up category at the Tourism Awards.
In 2014, the company was named Passenger Line of the Year at the Greek Shipping Awards, an honour bestowed by Lloyd’s List on the basis of its exceptional performance and innovative passenger services.
In 2009, the company was named Best Domestic Passenger Line at the readers’ choice awards organised by the internationally recognised travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.
In 2007, HELLENIC SEAWAYS was named a Superbrand for Greece at the Superbrand Awards. In the same year, the company received the Tourism Enterprise Award for its decisive role in improving and further developing Greek passenger shipping and maritime transport for the islands. At the Lloyd’s List Shipping Awards, HELLENIC SEAWAYS was named Passenger Line of the Year, while also taking home the prize for Ship of the Year, awarded to the company’s new ro-ro passenger ferry, the Nissos Chios, which was built entirely in Greece.
In 2006, the Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards named the Nissos Mykonos, a new ro-ro passenger ferry, Ship of the Year.
